PT Idea Cipta Senandika (Senandika) is an Indonesian consulting company working across social, cultural, and environmental dimensions of development. We combine multidisciplinary expertise, local knowledge, and international good practice to help clients understand impacts, manage risks, and create more sustainable and inclusive development outcomes.
Established in 2021, Senandika represents the continuation and consolidation of two earlier institutions: Perkumpulan ICSD (Indonesia Centre for Sustainable Development), established in 2002, and PT Insan Cipta Suluh Dunia, established in 2016. This institutional experience forms the foundation of Senandika's commitment to practical, evidence-based, and responsible development.
Our Approach
Development challenges rarely fit within a single discipline. Senandika brings together social science, cultural heritage, environmental expertise, spatial analysis, and sustainability practice to provide integrated solutions grounded in evidence and informed by the realities of affected communities and stakeholders.
We work across the project cycle—from assessment and planning to implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and impact measurement—while aligning our work with applicable national requirements and relevant international standards.
Our multidisciplinary approach reflects Senandika's role as an interconnected institution working across business, government, and civil society, with sustainable development understood through its economic, social, and environmental dimensions.
Connecting Evidence, People, and Sustainable Solutions
Senandika's journey began long before the establishment of the company itself. Our institutional roots go back to 2002, when the Indonesia Centre for Sustainable Development (ICSD) was established, followed by PT Insan Cipta Suluh Dunia in 2016. In 2021, these two institutional trajectories were brought together under PT Idea Cipta Senandika.
Today, Senandika builds on more than two decades of accumulated institutional experience while continuing to develop new approaches to the social, cultural, and environmental challenges of contemporary development.- Clarice Turner
